What is a Ghostwriter?

True ghostwriters don't write for the people they serve—they write as them. The ghostwriting process involves extensive interviewing with clients to capture their "voice," which is a combination of their intentions, their values, their goals, and their unique ways of expressing themselves. True ghostwriters create success for authors, organizations and corporation executives. They write, research, edit and do the legwork for busy people who want to see their words bring success to themselves and others. Most importantly, as many of my clients will tell you, "He wrote the piece exactly as I would have written it."

"I have made great strides from my first article to this one.
I know it is because of my teacher. Thank you!"

What is a Writing Coach?

Some editors call themselves writing coaches when the only service they provide is a simple edit. The coaching process goes deeper than just taking something you write, editing the piece and then presenting that to you as valuable feedback. A writing coach explores your intentions, the impact you intend to make, the audience you want to reach, and the goals you have in communicating with that audience. The writing coach teaches you how to turn your "voice" into compelling communications that make people want to keep reading. The result is success, whether it is in publishing, marketing or public relations. That's why my company is called Winning Words.

Lee is also co-author (with David L. Porter) of the book, Hell on Earth: The Wildfire Pandemic, which was released everywhere in late August 2008. In Hell on Earth, two authors who have experienced wildfire devastation firsthand put a human face on a growing global wildfire pandemic. Publisher's Weekly called it "...a rapidly-moving, thriller-like account." Written over three years, the book chronicles the wildfire storms of 2003 and 2007 in Southern California, highlights wildfires throughout the United States and the world, and then examines the causes for the global increase in devastating wildfires and their effect on the environment.
